What is yagya?
Yagya is the ancient Vedic fire ceremony — offerings made into a sacred fire, carried by mantra.
For thousands of years, yagya has been performed to honour the elements, to purify the space and the mind, and to offer gratitude. The fire is treated as a living presence that receives what is offered.
This evening is a simple, welcoming way to understand what yagya is — not by reading about it, but by sitting with the fire, hearing the mantras and taking part in the offering.

What the evening holds
Settling in
Arriving as the light fades, and taking a few quiet moments before the fire is lit.
Mantra
Chanting together, so the sound of the mantras carries the ceremony.
The fire offering
Taking part in the yagya, with Ritika explaining each step as it happens.
Silence & reflection
Sitting with the fire and the full moon, letting the experience settle.
The full moon has long been held as a time of fullness and clarity — a natural moment to offer, to give thanks, and to begin again.
Holding yagya on the evening of the full moon brings together two of the oldest rhythms of practice: the fire, and the cycle of the moon.
Open to everyone
No previous experience of yagya, mantra or Vedic ritual is needed. Come with curiosity — everything is guided.
