The Sanctuary
Held in nature
Ten acres on Bundjalung Country in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales — the physical home where the School’s teachings can be experienced in deeper immersion.
When you come to School of Dharma, you don’t just attend a retreat or program. You walk a piece of healed land. You sleep under a sky uncrowded by city light. You hear the dawn chorus that has been singing here for a very long time.

The land
Open grassland,
gently restored
Ten acres of land in Burringbar — open grassland waiting to be restored. Over the years, more than 200 trees were planted, a fruit orchard took root, and the land was gently regenerated into a fertile and abundant nature reserve.
We plant native, build lightly, rely on rainwater and solar where we can, and make space for the wildlife that was here first.
The spaces
Everything was built with care and intention.

The living pool
A natural, chemical-free place to swim.
